I had my model pose in a certain way for these photographs as i wanted to achieve a pose which is similar to that used by magazines of a genre icon which is liam gaalagher. My audiance my recognise the pose and that is why i have chosen to use it. I like the small amount of shadow just behind his face in this pose and i feel it may be useful for the full magazine.
Although the pose isnt bad the photo is too close and thus feels unproffessional so i dopubt i will use this one.
In this photo my model is looking at the camera as if he knows its there so it looks a bit artificial which is not usually an image you will see in indie magazines. Usually the images used when looking at the camera are done as if the band know the camera's there but dont care so i will most likely not use this image.
Although in this image there is no smile i dont like the pose as it looks abit uncomfotable and forced so i will not use this one.
This is a good stereotypical image form indie magazines. The artist is staring straight into the camera and makes eye contact with the consumer and is very useful for connection with the reader.
